I am so PUMPED to share Eleanor and Rob’s freaking gorgeous wedding with you! When it comes to sharing the photos, How do I choose? HOW?! This wedding was one from the books. Seriously, this week was one of pure wedding bliss and basically the best party the Dominican Republic has seen! The venue was TO DIE FOR. Who doesn’t want to party it up at the most beautiful vacation spot where our fav celebs like JLo and Beyonce’ have stayed?! We definitely felt like royalty and the views were breathtaking. I haven’t been to Italy, but I was definitely feeling some Italy vibes there. Just Gorgeous.
It was so incredible to see friends and family travel to celebrate Eleanor and Rob. We ate, we drank (a lot), we laughed and several of us cried as vows were shared in front of the most beautiful view of The Dominican Republic. Not to mention, they had the TOP BRIDAL SQUAD, hands down. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Each one of these girls have a special and unique bond with Ellie and it was so touching to see those connections through this wedding week.
When I do destination weddings I like to have a day after shoot with the couple. It’s much more relaxed and we can visit a few places we didn’t get to on the wedding day. These beautiful pillars caught my on wedding day but I immediately knew we wouldn’t have time. I’m SO glad we went the day after instead. The whole vibe of the day was different. We drank passion fruit margaritas, re-lived some moments from the wedding and I discovered that Rob and I have the same taste in music.
I really really really miss this wedding crew! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You know the people you hang around and just keep thinking “these people are so cool!” That was me pretty much this whole trip. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you’re thinking about having a destination wedding
I highly recommend a day after shoot because:
1.) You may not get the opportunity to go back to that place so you want to get in all the photo ops you can while at a beautiful destination⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2.) You get a totally different look and feel from your images than on the day of your wedding.
