Our pictures are literal art. We have received so many compliments on them. She is like family to us, and I can't wait to do more shoots with her. I am running out of wall space. Fellow brides, invest in your photographer...these pictures are the only thing you have left after the wedding.
My husband and I were so incredibly blessed to have Alex as our wedding photographer. I cannot recommend her enough! She is such a kind and thoughtful person, and made us feel so loved, comfortable, and cared for. It has been the absolute best to be able to relive our wedding day. We couldn't be happier!!!
After being in the industry for over a decade, I have key photos that I capture at every wedding. Those are the shots that don't change from wedding to wedding. Those are the ones you will not need to worry about and include moments like:
putting on your dress, the rings, both views of the aisle as the bride walks down, The first kiss, the grand entrance, each reception tradition and many more.
If you have any specific to YOUR wedding moments you would like captured, we create a list that includes all of those, along with a family portrait list of every member and grouping you would like.
Your Discovery Call and Engagement session!
The Discovery call is when we first chat and I get to hear the details of your relationship- how you met, what you do, how he proposed the best basics ever...
Aside from the discovery call we have when we first connect, the engagement session is key in getting to know you. That's after we know the basics and can move a little more into interests, and can get more conversational with each other. It's a great way for me to guage your comfortability in front of the camera and you can see what it is like to work with me.
This is a great question. As a bride, it's hard to know how many hours are needed in order to capture what you envision for your day. Some important things to think about are what type of crowd will you have at your wedding? Small and intimate or large and ready to party?
Will you want to focus on every detail of getting ready or do you want to make sure we are there until last call at the reception? If you want it all then 8-10 hours of coverage would be my recommendation to be sure we capture from the moment you finish hair and makeup to that last kiss of the night at the end of the sparkler tunnel.
If you don't care too much about EVERY getting ready detail or if you would rather opt for a grand entrance to your reception/ not big on the exit then 7 hours. My Collections begin at 7 hours because I feel like that allows my team to capture everything and not feel like we are rushing through the day.
I photographed my first wedding in 2009 and have not looked back! 12 years of capturing love stories and I am STILL as emotional and swept away by each of my couples on their wedding day.
I was inspired by a photographer who did my senior photos. This was when the idea of outdoor and on location photography was very new. She found the most unique places I would never had thought of and made this incredible photographic art. I ended up learning how to use my camera from her and she taught me the foundation of my business. Thank you Lauren Clark
