I am so thrilled to introduce Mr. & Mrs. Chambliss! You guys, it says it in the name. Their wedding at The Brooks at Weatherford was pure BLISS! It was so gorgeous. The chapel felt just like an open air chapel. Everything was so refreshing, rustic and quaint. Seriously, this venue is such a gem. On top of that, Jeff and Anna are SO sweet, and their ceremony reflected that. It was moving.

How did they meet?

Anna and Jeff actually met on a blind date! A mutual friend of theirs asked Anna if she was single one day at lunch. Having had LESS than exciting blind dates in the past, Anna was naturally hesitant to say yes. Immediately, all of her coworkers swarmed and asked Anna’s friends for all the details of this guy. They found out that he loves Jesus, UT and he brews his own beer. After further discussion and everybody else being way more excited about the set up than Anna, the ball was rolling to try and set the two up. Jeff said he trusted their mutual friend and her husband, and was willing to go on a date as long as Anna wasn’t an OU fan!

Lucky for him, Anna grew up in West Texas, so if she was going to be a fan of anybody, it was going to be Texas Tech. That was acceptable enough for him. They met for dinner (so Anna did not have to miss the Cowboys game, of course) at Cane Rosso for pizza. This was Jeff’s choice, and Anna was thrilled because pizza is her favorite food of all time. On the date they talked football and Anna was impressed with his clever fantasy football team name- NFLaxis. The play on words combining his profession and pro-football peaked Anna’s interest! She knew if he asked her to go on another date with him, she would. Turns out he asked and the rest is history!

Wedding day favorite moments

What are some the bride and groom’s favorite moments? Jeff LOVED seeing Anna walking down the aisle and she loved locking eyes with him as she did. That moment was breathtaking. I personally loved their first look together, also! Those are the moments that melt my heart. Another one of their favorite moments was their first dance and sneaking away to eat by themselves in a private room. While a wedding day is magical, they are often so busy that those moments to yourself are GOLD. They valued the words their pastor shared in the ceremony. It was special, intimate and Holy Spirit filled. Finally, they loved being able to share such a special day celebrating with their friends and family. The little moments are what make each day so unique and special. If you’re engaged and wedding planning, take notes! đŸ˜‰
